Illustrator; Shopping Basket

Whilst using Illustrator, Mark taught us how to cut a hole in something in illustrator so you are able to see through it and/or whatever is behind it.

To create the basket, I used the pen tool to create certain points to make an upside down trapezium, then added the brim of the basket by using the shape tool. I then made one singular circle that would make it look more like a shopping basket and multiplied them, once doing so I moved onto making them see-through by selecting the circles (pressing shift and clicking all the circles) and using pathfinder to cut out the shapes.

During this lesson I learnt how to use pathfinder and a small amount about the pen tool.
